One of the ways we utilize open communication and connections to empower the treatment process is by providing a weekly conference phone call with co-founder and family liaison, Jerri Jorgensen, in which the entire family unit can participate.

After our founders, Mark and Jerri Jorgensen, went through their own recovery process, they realized how important it is to include the whole family. This conference call gives family members the ability to remain connected to their loved one who is seeking treatment, but also receive treatment for themselves as they experience their own potential effects from the addiction.

Jerri helps each family member express their current feelings and reconnect with the family member they know and love. Connection to the people in our lives, the natural world around us, and the activities and hobbies that fill our daily lives is one of, if not the most important, thing we try to teach everyone who seeks help from us.

Being addicted to sex, pornography, gambling, gaming, or a harmful substance disconnects us from everything that we hold close to our hearts, and that is why we stress the importance of recreating these connections. Mark and Jerri Jorgensen fought this very same battle when Mark had to seek treatment for his own addiction to pornography and Jerri had to watch Mark become more and more distant and disconnected the more he became addicted.
