Sample Sponsorship Agreement

I was recently asked to act as a sponsor for one of the clients who graduated from Desert Solace. Because I’m still fairly new at sponsoring other recovering addicts, I’ve been putting a lot of thought into my obligations as a sponsor and what I should expect in return from my “sponsee” (I’ve always hated using that word because it’s not a real word, but the only other options I’ve found are “protege” or “sponsored party,” neither of which I like any better).

Anyway, being an attorney in my former life, I thought it would be appropriate to write up a sponsorship agreement between the sponsor and the sponsored party (ugh, not much better, right?). I thought I’d put it up for download here in case any of you wanted some ideas to draw up your own agreement. It’s not perfect by any means, and it was drafted with pornography addiction in mind.
